Project Components: website design, logo and graphics design, hyperseek directory configuration, banner rotation software configuration, javascript editing and testing, copy writing and editing, forum configuration and layout design.

Planet Doom Portal was a science fiction, fantasy and horror directory and search engine. Our task was to create a design in keeping with that theme, while maintaining an easy to navigate directory structure. The owner was pretty certain that he wanted a black background for the site, so we decided to try for a feeling of moving through space in the logo. Subdued colours kept the site easy on the eyes, and clear navigation facilitated movement between the different areas of the portal. Beyond this, we were tasked with configuring the software used in the site: Hyperseek directory, including banner rotation software, and forum scripts. Sadly, Planet Doom Portal is no longer online.
