Consulting Services

A consulting session can help you decide whether or not you need the services of a designer or design team.  It can answer questions about your website and the way it looks, and provide you with the information you need to make an informed decision about the direction you want your website to go.

WolseleyGirl Design offers consulting services to help you save money on your overall design budget.  If you just have a couple of questions about the way your site works, or want to know how to "fix" a small display issue, there's no reason to pay for full design services.  Often a consulting session will give you what you need for hundreds, or thousands, of dollars less than a full design session would cost.

Case in point:  Winnipeg illustrator and cartoonist Dan Phelps had built himself a very nice website.  The code was all valid, and the site looked very good.  There were just a couple of little display issues that he could not get under control.  Mr. Phelps wanted to hire us to "fix" his website.

A quick look around Project Herbivore was all it took to let us know that it would take us several hours of coding to go through the site and correct the very tiny error that was causing the display issues.  Instead of accepting the design contract, we offered Dan a short consulting session and taught him how to fix the problem himself.  Dan saved quite a bit of money by consulting with us and learning how to fix the problem himself, and now has the skills necessary to fix similar problems in the future.
