Website maintenance and promotion are an important part of your online presence. Some of our customers feel confident about handling this on their own, but many prefer to leave these chores to people who have experience in the field.

If you want to handle your own maintenance and promotion, we will gladly train you or a staff member to manage your website, and perform some basic maintenance tasks. In fact, this is included as "consultation and training" in your design package. You might decide after your training that you do, indeed, want to give it a go, or you might decide that you want us to do it for you. Either way, we'll support you in your decision.

If you do decide to have WolseleyGirl Design perform your site maintenance and promotion, you will be buying blocks of time to be applied within a specified date range. The amount of time you purchase will depend on how active you expect your site to be within those dates.

Typical site maintenance and promotion activities include:

updating or editing website content (does not include creation of new pages)
running statistical analysis of website traffic logs
testing various site functions to ensure they are running properly
submitting the site to search engines and directories
checking site ranking for appropriate keyword searches
finding appropriate link partnerships
creating new email accounts or removing dead accounts

There are, of course, many more things that can be included in website maintenance and promotion, but this list indicates the sorts of things that WolseleyGirl can do for you.

Standard maintenance pricing starts at $75.00 CAD per hour. We do offer discounts for larger blocks of time. Please contact us for more information about packages and pricing.
