WolseleyGirl Design follows a fee for billable hours pricing policy. Although we have created packages at various price points, the cost of those
packages is derived from a calculation of the number of hours of work necessary
to create an average package of a particular type. In addition, we have
studied the Canada Manitoba Business Service Center publication How Much
for an e-Business Website?, and keep prices well within the guidelines
established in this document.
We are not the least expensive web design studio in Winnipeg, nor are we the
most expensive. Our pricing is fair, based on our qualifications,
experience, and the service we provide. You can be confident that you will
receive quality work for a fair price.
That said, there are things that you can do to reduce your costs:
- Do your research. If you know what you want, and can tell us, or name
some websites that have the features you want, it will take less time to create
your site.
- The devil is in the details. If little things keep getting added to
the project, the price will keep going up. The more detail you give us at
the beginning, the lower your final cost.
- Provide copy for your site. If you do the copy writing, and we do the
coding, you can cut quite a big chunk out of your final bill. It takes us
much less time to copy and paste text from the files you send us than it does to
write copy, send it to you for approval, and then enter it into web pages.
- Have good quality copies of your logo or other graphics ready. This
can save quite a bit of time and money. The higher the quality of the
artwork you provide, the less time it takes us to convert it for use on your
website.
- Be honest about your budget constraints. Every business has
them. Let us know what yours are, and we will do our best to find a way to
stay within them. If we can't, we'll let you know before you spend a
penny.
- Respond to our requests for proof approval in a reasonable amount of
time. When customers take more than two or three days to get back to us,
we are forced to let their projects sit until we hear back from them. When
we do hear back, it may take some time to fit the project back into the
schedule, and get "back up to speed" on what the client wants.
This adds both time and money to the project.
- Request a Quotation: we'd be happy to
provide you with a free, no obligation quote on your project.
